Not yet. Hopefully later this year.

Aviator does have 750ml bottles of the Dirty Rat Stout at the Aviator Taphouse now.

I agree with JeffL about New Belgium. Their beers are not very good. I do like the 1554, haven't tried the Hoptober yet though.

I'm convinced that they are better in Colorado.  I don't know if the elevation helps, or if it is just cool to sit on a patio overlooking the Rockys while having a Fat Tire.

Typically I don't order it around here.  Tastes too malty here...

New Aviator Bonehead Indian Brown out at the Aviator Taphouse. Nice Brown Ale, mostly unfiltered(to leave the flavor in), hoppy brown with chocolate malt. Really nice flavor! The 23rd style of beer out in 11 months of brewing.

I had Stone's Sublimely Self-Righteous last night.  I have to say that is one of the best beers I have ever had.  The smell is terrific and the taste is just awesome.  I have not ever had a bad beer from Stone.

On a separate note, the home kegarator is almost complete.  I need a couple of more parts and then of course, the kegs.  I will have two North Carolina beers on tap.  Any suggestions?  Keep in mind, they have to come in 5 gallon kegs.

Just discovered Dales Pale Ale is now stocked at Harris Teeter. The world's only decent beer in a can, other than Guinness and Boddington's.

hey Jeff,

if you like the pale ale, try the imperial stout by the same brewery! it is VERY good!

Just returned home from Boston. Scored these three beauty's at the Brewery... *can only be purchased at the Brewery*

I guess two of them have active yeast, I could be wrong as I am NO beer pro so it might be another beer ingredient, and the longer they sit unopened, the longer they age, the better they taste... kind of like wine I guess --- This is according to the brew master whom I'm sure ya'll have seen on their commercials.

love the different photos of the beer, makes it look like artwork (which of course beer is).  Tapped the first keg last night, Hoppyum from Foothills.  Picked it up at the Brewery, kegged on 11/02.  Ordered the brown ale from Duck Rabbit, should be in tomorrow.  Once the Thursday night Bike N Brews get going, should have plenty of beer for everyone.

Question for those that have a home kegarator?  My first beer of the evening is generally foamy, so I was told to push up the psi.  That helped eliminate the air in the line.  However, now all pours are foamy, the beer just comes flying out of the faucet and foams up.  Any suggestions?

Lower your PSI again. Just tilt the first glass and let the foam run out. Keep the beer level right at the rim until the glass is full. You should be ok.

Terrapin Depth Charge. Holy crap. In the top five stouts category right now. Try it. Part of the Midnight Project Series. The Brewer from lefthand helped out on it. A brewery collaboration beer. This should happen more often.

I was told that:

my lines are two short ( I have 1/4 tubing at 2 feet) and that my fridge is not cold enough (it is aorund 43).

go with 10 feet of 3/16 inch tubing.

The beer not being cold enough is usually the main reason for extra foamage. PSI should be in the 10-12lb range. The beer should come out of the tap somewhat fast, but not super fast. It should be a full stream.

Tried the New Belgium Hoptober last night. It was good but nothing spectacular. I also tried the Boulder Brewing Co. Mojo. That was really good. I would recommend it. The Hoppium from Foothills is great as well.

I might have to try the whole go-to-Colorado-to-drink-New Belgium thing.

That sounds pretty low - is this a tubeless setup?
